The HTP150 mining surface temperature sensor is a PT100 temperature sensor that can be used underground in coal mines to detect the surface temperature of motors, reducers, and other mechanical and electrical equipment. The sensor adopts a four wire resistor signal output, which meets the requirements for temperature measuring instruments using two-wire, three wire, or four wire connection methods. The sensor is internally encapsulated with an armored PT100 temperature measuring element, which utilizes the linear change in resistance value of PT100 with temperature changes to reflect the actual temperature on the surface of the device being measured. When the sensor is placed on the surface of the tested device, the temperature of the tested surface is transmitted to the internal temperature measuring element, thereby changing the resistance value of the temperature measuring element. By measuring the resistance value of the temperature measuring element, the temperature value of the tested device can be indirectly measured. The specific relationship between resistance and temperature can be found in the "Comparison Table of Temperature and Resistance Values for Industrial Platinum Thermistors".

1. Installation of sensors
Temperature sensors should be installed as much as possible in areas where coal, water, and other substances cannot splash onto them. They should be tightly bolted onto the surface of the device being tested, and the lower surface of the sensor should be in complete contact with the back side. The tail signal lead should be well protected and not subjected to force to avoid damaging the internal wiring.

2. Wiring of sensors
Sensor factory strapA 1.5m long four core shielded cable lead, with two red and two white wires each. The two red wires are internally short circuited together, and the two white wires are internally short circuited together. The sensor adopts a four wire output form, which can be easily connected to secondary instruments using two-wire, three wire, and four wire connection methods.
